Time and time again, we’re asked, “How does your food taste so delicious?” Our inbox is filled with notes asking, “How do you season these red beans? They’re spectacular!”
As it often is with New Orleans food, flavor just comes down to a love of cooking and cuisine.
That and the right tools and ingredients, of course.
So we got to thinking, “How can we make this deliciousness available to our friends across the country?” Simple. With the help of Huck Finn’s Cafe Cajun Seasoning!
For only $3.95, plus tax, you can get a pretty large container of our special herbs and spices. The recipe’s a secret, mind you, but just give us a call, and we’ll put a cannister in the mail for you right away.
You can get cookin’ in no time, and your friends won’t have to know how you suddenly know all about Cajun cooking!

Summer has made its way to the Big Easy, and we here at Huck Finn’s Cafe haven’t slowed down a bit.
The new menu is still under wraps, but believe you me, it’s going to be colossal! (Turtle soup anyone?) In the meantime, our team has been perfecting and perfecting our current dishes. Seriously, you MUST try the new beignets.
The sports bar is getting some new toys as well. We’re busy right now, putting in a new sound system for parties and on game days. We also added the MLS Kick Channel and Fox Deportes to the lineup, so that you guys can get the latest in soccer from around the world.
Whew. That’s all for now. How have YOU kept busy this summer? Come out and tell us!

Our chefs have been hard at work putting together a new dish that features FRIED CATFISH.
Thin fried, of course, with an all new, slightly tangy sauce, this dish is going fast. And we can see why!
Stop by for dinner or for lunch the next time you’re in the French Quarter and see for yourself. We think it’ll become a favorite of yours too.

What could be better than having FIFTEEN high definition, flat screen TVs to watch all of your favorite baseball games on? Having a cold Abita and Buffalo Wings to go with it!
And that’s not all.
Now that the team here at Huck Finn’s Cafe has the MLB Extra Innings Package, we’re busy drilling up some AMAZING specials to go with it!
We want to hear from you. What’s YOUR idea of the “best baseball special ever”?
Speak up now, and it just may become a reality. (As long as we’re talking food and drinks, guys.)
In the meantime, drop by our restaurant and bar at 135 Decatur Street in the French Quarter, and see what we already have cookin’!

Festival season has officially kicked in here in the Big Easy, and the crew at Huck’s is totally in spirit.
How could we not be? We’re BLOCKS away from French Quarter Fest this weekend, a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from Jazz Fest, not to mention all of the excitement of the French Quarter, right outside the door.
If you’re around town for French Quarter Fest, make sure to stop in for a drink and a cup of gumbo. We’re virtually right outside of the House of Blues Stage! (Ah, the music. Such great music.)
Specials change daily, so get it while it’s still there to be had!
We look forward to seeing everybody, and don’t forget, there’s word that if you check in with us on Foursquare, there just MAY be a hidden special. But you didn’t hear it from us.
