The new menu is still under wraps, but believe you me, it’s going to be colossal! (Turtle soup anyone?) In the meantime, our team has been perfecting and perfecting our current dishes. Seriously, you MUST try the new beignets.

The sports bar is getting some new toys as well. We’re busy right now, putting in a new sound system for parties and on game days. We also added the MLS Kick Channel and Fox Deportes to the lineup, so that you guys can get the latest in soccer from around the world.

How could we not be? We’re BLOCKS away from French Quarter Fest this weekend, a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from Jazz Fest, not to mention all of the excitement of the French Quarter, right outside the door.

If you’re around town for French Quarter Fest, make sure to stop in for a drink and a cup of gumbo. We’re virtually right outside of the House of Blues Stage! (Ah, the music. Such great music.)

Try our seafood gumbo, made from a generations-old Cajun family recipe. It’s only $5 for a cup or $9 per bowl. Great for your tummy and for your wallet, (which is great, if you are still recovering from Mardi Gras.) Make sure to come early, because this gumbo goes quick.  …perhaps something due to the Louisiana shrimp, succulent crab meat, and undeniably tasty oysters it has in it. We’ll just let you decide.
